Chuck Peters

President & CEO

Chuck Peters

Chuck Peters is President and Chief Executive Officer of New England Wire Products. Under his leadership of more than 40 years, NEWP has grown from a small, family-owned business to become one of the leading retail display manufacturing companies in the United States. Chuck leads NEWP’s go-to-market initiatives, including sales, customer engagement, new product R&D and efforts across the company’s five production facilities. Chuck studied mechanical engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and currently serves on the Board of Visitors at the Fenn School. Chuck was the recipient of the Isenberg School of Management Leadership Award along with his wife Karen in 2016. Chuck has run the New York Marathon, can be seen daily in the gym doing CrossFit and values most his family time with his wife Karen and six children.

Charlie Peters

Charlie Peters III

Charlie Peters III is the COO and assists in production, logistics and purchasing across the company’s five factory sites. He has worked at NEWP since he was a young kid. Charlie has worked in all departments through the years, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the Isenberg School of Business. Charlie is an avid Boston Bruins and Patriots fan and can be frequently seen in the stands cheering for his teams.

Kristin Gaul

Kristin Gaul

Kristin Gaul is Chief Financial Officer of New England Wire Products. Kristin focuses on developing strategy and controls at NEWP. She leads the Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, ERP, IT, and Human Resources departments. Prior to NEWP, Kristin worked in New York City at J.P. Morgan within the Fixed Income Asset Management division and passed Level 1 of the CFA Program. Kristin holds a Finance degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the Isenberg School of Management and is currently the Co-President of the Young Finance Alumni Board. When Kristin is not working she enjoys trying out new restaurants and training for marathons.

Jaci Moulton

Director of Sales

Jaci Moulton

Jaci Moulton is the Director of Sales at NEWP. Jaci has been with the company since 2011 and has since worn a number of hats and gained expertise in all facets of the company. As an optimistic & enthusiastic sales professional she has maintained strong client relationships that generate repeat business. She is responsible for managing a national sales team by planning, monitoring & meeting sales targets. Jaci received her degree in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell where she also served 4 years on the collegiate Field Hockey Team. During her free time, she focuses on staying active & visiting with Family/Friends.

Karen Peters

Director, Marketing & Administration

Karen Peters

Karen Peters is responsible for overseeing the administrative and marketing departments at NEWP. She started working at NEWP in the accounting department as a bookkeeper over 20 years ago. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and serves on the institution’s Foundation Board. Karen enjoys traveling with her family and attending her kids' sporting events.

Jim Shaw

Director, Facilities Management & Operations

Jim Shaw

Jim Shaw has worked at NEWP for over 15 years with roles in accounting, purchasing, payroll and facilities management. Prior to NEWP, Jim worked in various financial roles in technology companies including Wang Global and Jabil Circuit. Shaw holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. Jim enjoys riding his road bicycle, running, and coaching youth hockey.

George Peters

Mohawk Plant Manager

George Peters

George Peters is a Plant Manager for NEWP. He oversees operations, packaging, shipping, and logistics. He believes the keys to getting ahead are getting organized and putting the right people in the right positions to succeed. George grew up working in all departments as a kid, getting to know the process and flow of the company. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the Isenberg School of Business. George enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and going to fun events.

Dave DuBois

Quality Control Manager

Dave DuBois

Dave is the Quality Control Manager at NEWP. He has worked on this team for over 40 years and has established a process to ensure our products are of the best quality possible. He has worked in various departments throughout his time on the team but found that QC is his passion. He studied Business Administration at Northeastern University but his experience on the job has taught him the most. In his spare time, he enjoys a wide variety of music and is an avid sports enthusiast.

 

Mitch Despres

Director of Estimating
About
Mitch Despres

Mitch Despres is the Director of Estimating at NEWP. Mitch started his journey with NEWP back in 2015 in Accounts Payable. He worked his way up to a Staff Accountant and eventually helped as a Purchasing Agent. Through these experiences with Finance and Materials, Mitch was able to become the company's first Estimator other than the CEO, Chuck Peters. Mitch now oversees all Supply Chain Materials and Estimating. Mitch holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass Amherst. In his free time, Mitch enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and collecting whiskey and vinyl records.

 

Thomas O’Connor

Engineering Manager

Thomas O’Connor

Tom is our Manager of Engineering. Tom started on our team back in 2019 as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer and worked his way up to manager of the team. Tom is now responsible for overseeing and approving the design and function of all NEWP products. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The UMass Amherst. In his free time, Tom enjoys skiing and hanging out with his friends and family.

Haohao Guo

Global Sourcing Specialist

Haohao Guo

Haohao is our Global Sourcing Specialist, managing the importation of goods and machinery while also coordinating our offshore operations. With a diverse background, he was an entrepreneur in international education and the CFO for a major international firm. A CPA with three years at Deloitte & Touche Boston, Haohao holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the UMass Amherst, where he was the inaugural recipient of an international student full scholarship. Outside work, he's passionate about outdoor activities, such as surfing and snowboarding.

Zakeria Alex

Zakeria Alex

IT Manager

Zakeria Alex

Zakeria Alex is the Information Technology Manager for NEWP. He started with the company in 2022. Zak leads the IT team in providing technology planning, design, and support across all of NEWP’s production facilities. Zak graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. Zak enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
